Febbre da cavallo, special screening
Ippodromo delle Capannelle
Organised by Zetema Progetto Cultura
On Thursday 29 October 2026, the Ippodromo delle Capannelle in Rome celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of "Febbre da cavallo", Steno's film that linked Roman comedy to the world of harness racing and its characters. At 18:00 Enrico Vanzina, director and son of Steno, meets the audience to talk about the making of the film, his work alongside his father and the relationship between the movie and the Rome of the races; the talk is moderated by Laura Delli Colli. At 19:00 the outdoor screening follows, right in the racecourse that serves as the backdrop to the stories of Mandrake, Pomata and Capannelle. The evening is organised by Zetema Progetto Cultura and admission is free.
