A guided urban walking route inspired by the entry path into the city of the Via di Francesco, starting from the Ponte Romano and the Velino river and crossing the historic centre as far as the Complesso di Sant'Agostino. The walk passes through Lungovelino, Via Roma, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, the Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta and the statue of San Francesco. On arrival, a photographic exhibition follows, devoted to the places, symbols and values of the Franciscan tradition, accompanied by readings from the writings of San Francesco, from the Cantico delle Creature to his teachings on peace and universal brotherhood. The initiative is co-organised by the Comune di Rieti with the Associazione Raffaello per Roma APS and is aimed at citizens, students and families.
