Together against scams
Centro Anziani Manziana, Largo Arturo Parisi
Organised by Comune di Manziana
The Comune di Manziana, together with the Stazione dei Carabinieri di Manziana, is organising a public meeting dedicated to preventing scams against the elderly. The appointment is for Thursday 5 November at 16:30 at the Centro Anziani, in Largo Arturo Parisi. During the meeting, the most common scams are discussed and how to recognise a suspicious situation before it becomes a problem: what behaviour to adopt, which requests should raise suspicion, who to turn to when you suspect you have been contacted by someone who is not who they claim to be. The initiative is free to attend and is designed to offer concrete tools to those who want to protect themselves and their loved ones. The following day, Friday 6 November at 17:00, a second meeting is scheduled at the Centro Anziani di Quadroni, in Via Latina 45.
