Every Friday, from 23 October to 4 December 2026, via II Giugno in front of the Bachelet school complex is closed to traffic and opened to children. This is the Strada Scolastica, the pilot project promoted by the Comune di Ciampino to rediscover urban space and talk about safety and sustainable mobility. A safe space in front of the school, temporarily closed to cars, that teaches sustainable mobility from an early age: the street becomes a place of play and socialising again. The closure is scheduled in two time slots, in the morning before school entry and in the afternoon. On Friday 23 October, to mark the relaunch of the project, from 16.00 games, music and readings in front of the school, together with the BiciBus, the initiative that raises awareness among adults and children about road safety. The initiative is organised by the Comune di Ciampino.
